Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This is the official Shadowrocket website and guide. This policy explains how data is handled when you visit rocket-rules.com. It applies only to website browsing and page interactions, and does not replace the privacy information in the app or Apple’s applicable terms.

1. Website Services and Data Collection

This site uses static pages for app authenticity checks, purchase information, and setup guides. It has no registration, login, email subscription, or online submission features. You can read the guide without providing your name, email address, phone number, or payment information.

This site does not provide proxy servers or offer, sell, or recommend servers or subscriptions. The guides assume you already have your own subscription or server details. The app’s one-time purchase is not a network service plan. The site will not ask you to submit subscription URLs, server passwords, configuration files, or connection logs, and the guide pages cannot access this information stored in the app.

2. Analytics and Operational Logs

This site uses analytics to understand page visits, navigation, and clicks on store links. This helps us check for broken links, improve site structure, and make the guide easier to use. Analytics may include page paths, referring pages, visit times, browser types, device categories, and approximate locations. The data recorded depends on browser settings and the analytics configuration in use.

The download page records a store-link click when you choose the App Store button. This event indicates that you left the site for the product page; it does not confirm a purchase or include your Apple Account, payment details, or purchase outcome. The hosting provider may also generate necessary request logs for troubleshooting and site security. This policy does not guarantee that all records are impossible to link to an individual.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Static pages do not require account cookies. Depending on the analytics configuration, analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits and summarize usage. This policy does not claim that analytics are necessarily anonymous, nor does reading the guide imply consent to data processing for other purposes.

The page may use language paths or section markers in the URL to preserve your reading position; this is different from persistent local storage. If browser storage is used for site features or analytics, it is limited to the relevant preferences or visit measurement and is not used to store subscription credentials. You can restrict cookies, clear site data, or use content-blocking settings in your browser. These choices may affect analytics and saved preferences, but the guide remains available to read.

4. External App Store Links

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the App Store product page is the only place to get it. Apple operates the product page. After you click through, Apple may handle browsing, account, and transaction data under its policies. Purchases, payments, refunds, and restoration of past purchases are subject to Apple’s applicable terms.

This site does not accept payments or access Apple Account information. Data handling after you leave the site is not covered by this policy. Before purchasing, check the developer name, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official app icon, and app ID 932747118 on the store page. The App Store listing is the source of truth for price, system requirements, and compatibility.

5. Data Protection and Your Choices

Website data processing should be limited to what is needed to operate the site and improve its content. How long analytics records and request logs are retained depends on the actual configuration and maintenance needs; no unverified fixed retention period is promised here. Network transmission and browser environments carry risks. Do not share complete subscription links, passwords, or screenshots containing credentials in public feedback.

To reduce future data collection, adjust your browser’s privacy settings or stop visiting the site. Clearing browser data affects only locally stored content; it does not automatically delete analytics records or service logs already generated. For help using the app, see the steps and troubleshooting advice in the setup guide.

6. Policy Updates and Scope

If data uses, analytics methods, or page features change materially, this site will update the relevant information on this page and revise the month shown at the top. Important changes will be indicated where applicable; silent updates will not replace notices or choices required by law.

This policy describes data handling at the website level. Data generated while using the app is covered by the in-app information, and data generated by Apple services is covered by Apple’s policies. On a return visit, check the update marker and specific terms on this page for the currently applicable information.
